Sony Ericsson P1i: the stylish way to do business

Business mobile phone users now have one more reason to be exited about. Global giant Sony Ericsson have came up with a high performing PDA styled smartphone that aims to provide its users with a varied range of tools and functionalities. The recently announced Sony Ericsson P1i is a member of the popular P series business smartphone that includes best sellers like P910i and its upgrade, P990i.

Its designers have done a wonderful job with the handset which is about about three quarter to the size of the P990i while boasting of even more functions. This simple candy bar measures 106 x 55 x 17 mm and is quite comfortable to hold at 124 grams. The Sony Ericsson P1i is based on Symbian OS v9.1 and uses the much popular UIQ user interface, controlled through the micro keyboard, stylus and jog dial.

Its QWERTY keypad is well spaced out, 2.6 inch touch screen producing rich images in more than 262k colours across 240 x 320 pixels, thus making it very simple and convenient to work and navigate on the smartphone. The Sony Ericsson P1i has about 160 Mb of shared memory, 128 Mb RAM and another 256 Mb ROM. Another 512 Mb external memory card is shipped with a standard pack. Thus the handset has practically unlimited phone book entries and call records.

From Handwriting Recognition to business card scanning – the Sony Ericsson P1i sim free is loaded with everything that you may need to continue working while on the road. Connectivity options include triband GSM network support, 3G, GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB. Its feature list includes Office Applications, Organizer, Voice memo, Sync ML, media player and an FM radio. Primary camera module of the Sony Ericsson P1i is 3.2 megapixel – good enough to take on any high end camera phone. It is accentuated with all of the latest tool and gadgetry like autofocus, digital zoom, and integrated flash to capture pictures that are closer to perfection – much like the phone itself.
